President & Designer
John Burkley is the President of Cine Services, a 1963 high school graduate of Parkway High School, afterwards, he joined the U.S. Air Force and Served in Vietnam. In 1967, he attended the Brooks Institute of Photography and starting working as a still photographer for Ron Barlow Studio. Through the 1970′s, John founded Creative Photography West, joined Maritz Productions cross training as Gaffer/Chief Lighting Technician and moved to Kansas City for Warford Productions as Gaffer and Studio Manager.John has been Gaffer on over 400 national TV commercials coast to coast and 30 feature films or TV movies. After the loss of Tom in 2001, John transformed Cine Services, Inc. to Theatrical Design, Sales, and Service. He was an adjunct facility with Webster University for 17 years teaching Lighting for Film and Video and is a lifetime member of the Media Communications Association formerly ITVA Member Illuminating Engineering Society.
Technical Services/Curtain Installation
Tyler Duenow is a 1996 graduate of Lindenwood University with a B.A. in Technical Theater. Since graduating he has worked professional and Community Theater in and out of St. Louis. Tyler has been an actor, stage manager, set designer, set construction, director, lighting control board operator, sound board control operator and of course lighting designer. Local companies that Tyler has worked with are; The Goldenrod Show Boat, Clayton Community Theater Company, First Run Theater, West End Players, Hawthorn Players and currently is the lighting designer with Stray Dog Theatre. In 2010 Tyler won a Kevin Kline award for Best Lighting Design in St. Louis professional theatre for Stray Dog Theatre’s “The Trial”. Over the last ten years at Cine, Tyler has kept himself busy with outside sales calls, curtain installations, console training and technical work.
